The PAN Foundation is an independent, national 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to helping federally and commercially insured people living with life-threatening, chronic and rare diseases with the out-of-pocket costs for their prescribed medications. Since 2004, we have provided more than one million underinsured patients with $4 billion in financial assistance.

Partnering with generous donors, healthcare providers and pharmacies, we provide the underinsured population access to the healthcare treatments they need to best manage their conditions and focus on improving their quality of life.

Together, we can lower out-of-pocket costs and increase access to healthcare.

The Medicare Part D program affects some of the most vulnerable members of our community. For Medicare beneficiaries, especially older adults living on a fixed income, the burden of high out-of-pocket costs for medications can mean impossible choices between getting treated or paying for daily living expenses—things no one should have to worry about.

Let’s raise our voices to lower out-of-pocket costs, together.
