Paul Cantrell is a business consultant and friend to countless community-based organization (CBO) leaders across the nation and maintains relationships with USAging and NCOA for consulting services, resource development, training, and technical assistance. He has more than 25 years of leadership and professional experience in managed care, advocacy, health policy, small business development, and business acumen consulting for CBOs. Cantrell’s professional positions have included: vice president of product development for the Georgia Business Forum on Health/Atlanta Health Care Alliance, director of the Life and Health Division and health policy lead for the Georgia Department of Insurance, and 15 years of market and corporate level positions with a national health plan. In 2012, Paul founded Clear View Strategies to focus on improving business acumen and results at the intersection of health and social care to support CBOs and health care organizations as they address SDoH and health equity for the individuals in the communities they serve. Paul also serves as the Executive Director of Comprehensive Care Connections (C3), a non-profit Network Lead Entity (NLE) supporting Pennsylvania’s AAAs and their state association (P4A). |

Sharon R. Williams is the founder and CEO of Williams Jaxon, Consulting, LLC, a business development and training firm focused on support for community organizations, government agencies and health organizations serving Medicare/Medicare consumers. Sharon’s experience includes executive leadership in both the traditional health care and the Home and Community Based Services industries. She is a seasoned and results oriented executive with a passion for the delivery of high quality, culturally competent, comprehensive and cost effective health care services for publicly funded consumers. Sharon was CEO at CareSource Michigan, a top 100 ranked health plan with Medicaid and Medicare product lines. Additional leadership experiences include Vice President roles at Coventry, Amerigroup and OmniCare. She has also served as COO for one of the nation’s leading Area Agencies on Aging.
Sean Thomas (Moderator)

Sean Thomas is the Manager of Executive Operations at the National Council on Aging. He is responsible for leading the support for the executive office of NCOA, specifically focused on supporting the integration of all departments and overall oversight for operational and administrative alignment, as well as management of NCOA’s national Board of Directors.
Prior to NCOA, Sean was the Special Assistant and Chief of Staff at the Fashion Institute of Technology Foundation, where he oversaw the advancement initiatives in sustainability, strategic philanthropy, and social impact investment to support the Fashion Institute of Technology’s unique and unconventional heritage.
From 2012 to 2017, Sean served as the Manager of Administration at Safe Kids Worldwide, where he helped develop the strategic direction of the organization by providing oversight of administration and operations and leading the advancement of priority programmatic objectives for child safety initiatives.
Sean has also held various leadership roles at Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy, Malaria No More, and Tiffany & Co. He is an inspirational corporate social responsibility leader that has had success guiding and building nonprofit organizations specializing in administration, operations, and board governance and has worked extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and Africa on several sustainable health and economic development programs. He is also a former Peace Corps volunteer serving in Kyrgyzstan from 2006-2007.
Sean holds a BA in International Studies from Hawaiʻi Pacific University and an MA in International Affairs from the New School University.
