Juniper health promotion classes help people make positive changes in their lives and are highly rated and low-cost. But getting people to sign up is still a challenge. Juniper has identified key ways to be successful, including nurturing partnerships to reach new audiences, targeting engagement to maintain past participants and measuring impact to determine what is working and what activities can be improved.

Julie Roles

Julie Roles has extensive experience in communications, marketing and visual and program design. In her role with Trellis, she focuses on strategic implementation of external and internal communications to help achieve organizational priorities. Prior to Trellis, Julie was principal of J Roles & Associates, a strategic design firm. She has provided consulting services to nonprofits, businesses and governmental organizations. Her client list included 3M, Andersen Windows, University of Minnesota, National Association of Area Agencies on Aging and National Council on Aging. Julie has a Master of Arts in Design and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.

Rachel Bremness

Senior Provider Relationship Manager

Trellis

Rachel Bremness is the Senior Provider Relationship Manager for the Juniper network at Trellis. She is zealous in her desire to create opportunities for the organizations who serve older adults in Minnesota to grow and thrive. In her four years with Juniper, Rachel has coached providers of the Juniper network to develop as the network learns and grows. Rachel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from St. Catherine University in St Paul, MN.

Kathleen Cameron (Moderator)

Senior Director, Center for Healthy Aging

National Council on Aging

Kathleen Cameron, BSPharm, MPH, has more than 25 years of experience in the health care field as a pharmacist, researcher, and program director focusing on falls prevention, geriatric pharmacotherapy, mental health, long-term services and supports, and caregiving. Cameron is Senior Director of the NCOA Center for Healthy Aging, where she provides subject matter expertise on health care programmatic and policy related issues and oversees the Modernizing Senior Center Resource Center.
