Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of a variety of health and human services including Aging Services, Behavioral Health, Medical Rehabilitation and others. CARF International currently accredits more than 60,000 programs and services at over 28,000 locations. More than 15 million persons of all ages are served annually by 8,000-plus CARF-accredited providers. Aging Services accredits over 1,000 programs across the full continuum of care including both home & community-based services as well as residential communities in the U.S., Canada, China, U.A.E., and Ireland. www.CARF.org/aging
