This call will offer participants an opportunity to learn how grantees are offering evidence-based programs during the coronavirus pandemic. In grand rounds style, grantees will share how they are delivering EBPs in the virtual/remote environment, successes of their work, and lessons learned. Join the call to learn about virtual delivery of EBPs, collaborate with others across the country, and ask questions to help your organization work towards offering and/or improving your EBP virtual delivery.

Erika Saleski

ES Advisors, LLC

Erika Saleski is the Project Director for the Missouri Association of Area Agencies on Aging sustainability systems grant. For more than 15 years, Erika has worked with federal and state government in various capacities to create and implement policy that improves the delivery of health care to vulnerable populations and better aligns care delivery with community-based services. Erika led policy development for the Office of Management and Budget, Executive Office of the President (OMB), under two United States Presidents, including for over 75 Medicaid 1115 waivers, the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005, the Affordable Care Act, and the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act.  Erika’s other accomplishments include providing project management services to redesign the Illinois Medicaid delivery system, negotiating state and federal approval of four new Medicaid initiatives including a Medicare-Medicaid alignment initiative for dual eligible beneficiaries, and leading a policy advocacy effort to professionalize the Community Health Worker role in Missouri.  Erika has Bachelor of Psychology from American University in Washington, DC and a Master of Public Policy from The University of Chicago in Chicago, IL.  

Tane Lewis

Tane Lewis, BA, Evidence-Based Program (EBP) Coordinator for Mid-America Regional Center (MARC), Local Project Coordinator for the Missouri Association of Area Agencies on Aging (MA4), Master Trainer and Leader of Chronic Disease Self-Management Education (CDSME) Programs, and Community Health Worker (CHW). Tane is also a member of the Missouri Senior Falls Prevention Coalition of Clay and Platte Counties. As the EBP Coordinator for MARC Tane is building a regional network of Community Based Organizations (CBOs), in partnership with MARC, that are committed to facilitating EBPs to empower our communities through health promotion, disease prevention education and support services. MARC is dedicated to investing in local CBOs to increase the capacity and sustainability of their health and wellness programs to better serve our communities.

Kathleen Zuke (Moderator)

Kathleen Zuke was privileged to grow up with eight loving grandparents and developed a passion for supportive services for older adults as a caregiver for her grandfather. She has been a Senior Program Manager with the Center for Healthy Aging since 2015. In this role, she works collaboratively with community-based partners across the country to identify, implement, and sustain evidence-based programs that support older adults in staying well and aging in the community, including chronic disease self-management education, falls prevention, and behavioral health. She has a Master’s degree in Public Health from Hunter College and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
