This call will offer participants an opportunity to learn how grantees are offering evidence-based programs during the coronavirus pandemic. In grand rounds style, grantees will share how they are delivering EBPs in the virtual/remote environment, successes of their work, and lessons learned. Join the call to learn about virtual delivery of EBPs, collaborate with others across the country, and ask questions to help your organization work towards offering and/or improving your EBP virtual delivery.

Lon Kieffer, RN, BSN, MBA, NHA, "retired" as a professional comedian in 1984... and "let humor work" as he became a widely respected expert on Caregiver Leadership in the Senior Living Industry.

Lon was awarded Administration of the Year by the DE Health Care Facilities Organization in 2004. He is an accomplished senior services manager, with niche expertise administering Continuing Care Retirement Communities using an education-based, proactive person-centered model. He currently oversees the Chronic Disease Management and Falls Prevention programming for Education Health and Research International at Milford Wellness Village.

He and a team of personally chosen professional Comics are now "EnterTraining" the "55+ Community" with Clean Stand-Up Comedy!

Yoko Meusch, MA

Program Associate, Center for Healthy Aging

National Council on Aging

Yoko Meusch, MA is a program associate with five years of service to NCOA Center for Healthy Aging (CHA). Her core expertise lies in providing extensive, hands-on technical assistance (TA) to community-based organizations (CBOs) and State Units on Aging, helping them build capacity and develop sustainability strategies for evidence-based health promotion programs focused on older adults.

As a Program Associate, she has served as a TA liaison for Administration for Community Living (ACL) grantees, providing tailored capacitybuilding and sustainability support and leading various webinars, including bi-monthly Capacity Building Workgroup for grantees. Her experience includes designing learning opportunities, developing educational materials, and managing complex program activities. She holds a Master of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Health Communication from Johns Hopkins University.

Cristina Estrella, MS, CHES (Moderator)

Program Specialist, Center for Healthy Aging

National Council on Aging

Cristina Estrella, CHES is a Program Specialist for the Center for Healthy Aging at the National Council on Aging. In this role, Cristina provides technical assistance to U.S. Administration for Community Living grantees implementing evidence-based falls prevention and chronic disease self-management education programs. Additionally, she assists in developing resources for professionals and older adults and coordination of the annual Older Adult Mental Health Awareness Day Symposium.

Cristina began her career on the COVID-19 Containment and Mitigation team at the Alexandria Health Department where she conducted contact tracing, case investigation, outbreak reporting, and community outreach, and assisted in vaccine uptake initiatives. She holds a B.S. in Health Sciences and an M.S. in Public Health Education and Promotion from Marymount University.
