April 2024 Grand Rounds - Fall Prevention Initiatives in Ohio
This call will offer participants an opportunity to learn how grantees are offering evidence-based programs during the coronavirus pandemic. In grand rounds style, grantees will share how they are delivering EBPs in the virtual/remote environment, successes of their work, and lessons learned. Join the call to learn about virtual delivery of EBPs, collaborate with others across the country, and ask questions to help your organization work towards offering and/or improving your EBP virtual delivery.
Tiffany Boykins, CPST
Program Administrator -Unintentional Injuries for Adults and Children

Tiffany Boykins, CPST, received her bachelor’s in psychology, with a minor in German, from The Ohio State University and worked 19 years as a social worker in the state’s juvenile prison system before beginning at the Ohio Department of Health in 2013 in Emergency Preparedness. She then moved into violence and injury prevention, where she now works as a Health Planning Administrator 2 for unintentional injuries, which include older adults and children. Tiffany is the program administrator for the state’s violence and injury prevention coalition, is the agency lead for state’s low-income car seat program, and manages funds and programs for suicide prevention, youth concussions, adverse childhood experiences, occupant protection (teen driving and child passenger safety), pediatric drowning, and older adult injury prevention. Tiffany is the principal investigator for the ACL grant.
Morgan Pavol, MPA
Program Administrator II - Older Adult Falls Special Project Coordinator

Morgan Pavol, MPA, received his Bachelor of Science in Social Work degree, with a minor in aging, from The Ohio State University and Master of Public Administration degree from Ohio University. Morgan is a license social worker through the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. For more than a decade, Morgan has operated within the aging field at various capacities, including as a supportive services case manager, adult protective services investigator, dementia-related program coordinator, and hospice medical social worker. Morgan began his career at the Ohio Department of Health in 2021. Within the Violence and Injury Prevention Section at the Ohio Department of Health, Morgan serves as a Program Administrator (II) and Older Adult Falls Special Project Coordinator, in addition to functioning as the ACL grant project coordinator.
