Community Factors
1. What are the structural challenges we need to overcome in communities and what role do they play in poor health for older adults?
2. How do we build cultural resilience and cultural competence to getting better policies for older adults living with obesity?
3. How do we empower communities with the tools they need to help build resilience and support older adults living with obesity?
VIII. 1:25 pm Report on Break Out Discussions
Dorothea Vafiadis, MS, Director, Health Partnerships and Strategic Engagement, NCOA
Background: A representative from each group will report on key-takeaways from the discussions, including a call to action. The group will hear a final summary of next steps and expectations.
