    ***This training is for the NCOA Digital Literacy Initiative Grantees and their partners*** The trianing provides facilitators with the essential skills, tools, and steps needed to deliver inclusive digital literacy workshops that empower older adults to confidently navigate technology.

    The Digital Navigator Training equips staff and volunteers to support older adults in building essential technology skills. The session covers program foundations, core digital learning modules (internet, email, cybersecurity, and mobile basics), and step‑by‑step guidance on preparing and delivering inclusive workshops. Facilitators learn how to create accessible learning environments, recruit participants, use instructional materials effectively, and provide follow‑up support. The training emphasizes that digital literacy empowers older adults by promoting dignity, independence, and connection.
